It’s been a great season. So we, at Belgian Waffle Works would like to thank all of our customers for keeping our tables and seats full this year. We appreciate you and hope you will tell your friends about the great meals and delicious beverages you’ve enjoyed with us. The good news is that there is still time to enjoy the rest of this season. Just book a room and head up the hill to spend some quality time in the mountains.
Although the kids are back to school and fall is on its way, there are still officially five weeks left of summer. So don’t get squeezed out of summer. Head up to Lake Arrowhead Village to eek as much as you can out of summer 2014. Not sure how to do that? Here are a few ideas:
- Free Summer Concerts. The final free summer concerts include:
Aug. 29 – Superlark
Aug. 30 – Which One’s Pink? – Tribute to Pink Floyd
Aug. 31 – The Answer
Sept 1 – Neil Deal – Neil Young Tribute (1-3pm)
- Only Two Farmer’s Market Opportunities. You can’t beat homemade bread, local honey and fresh fruits and vegetables. All are available (and more) at the weekly Farmer’s Market in Lake Arrowhead Village. So bring some cash or a credit card and a shopping bag and be prepared to bring home some good-old fashioned homegrown goodness.
8/29 – Farmers Market (2p-8p)
9/05 – Farmers Market (2p-8p)
- Great Bargain-Hunting at the outlets and specialty shops in Lake Arrowhead Village. End-of-summer closeout bargains are fun finds for shoppers. So come prepare to check out specials at the stores on all levels of the Village.
- Summer Specials at Belgian Waffle Works, featuring our refreshing peach iced tea. Get a glass before it’s gone, as this is a special summer-only offering. Recently listed in LA Parent Magazine as a great place to go this summer, Belgian Waffle works always makes the best of the warm summer months. Our dockside patio is a comfortable place to relax and enjoy great food and fun. Ask for our summer specials.
Looking Forward to Fall
And when the dog days of summer officially end after Labor Day weekend, you still have lots of things to look forward to special iced tea to be served this fall (Peach), the Dog Festival on September 7, the Porsche Timeline show, breathtaking fall colors, Oktoberfest, and Santa’s Village – which is set to reopen in the fall.
