Join us in Lake Arrowhead this holiday season.

The holiday season is a magical time in Lake Arrowhead. Especially when blanketed in snow, the mountain scenery is truly breathtaking. The entire area offers holiday fun for visitors and residents alike.

The annual tree-lighting ceremony gets everyone in the Christmas mood. If you visit Lake Arrowhead Village November 26th from 6 to 9 p.m., you will be able to help Santa light the tree and ring in the holiday season. Speaking of Santa, you can take your picture with the big, bearded guy starting November 28th through December 19th every Saturday 12 to 4 p.m. and Sunday 12 to 3 p.m.  In the days immediately before Christmas, Santa will be available for pictures the 20th through 23rd from noon to 2 p.m.

Looking for traditional holiday’s entertainment? The Nutcracker ballet will be held at the Rim High School from December 3rd through 5th. Talk about tradition, the first Nutcracker was performed 118 years ago!

Everyone loves a parade! The Annual Christmas Parade in neighboring Blue Jay Village will be held December 4th starting at 2 p.m.

Enjoy another annual event in the Lake Arrowhead Village–the Holiday Firemen’s Bonfire on December 6th from 6 to 9 p.m. Held in the lower parking lot of the Village, the event offers a quartet of great things; bonfires, holiday music, hot dogs, and cocoa! Donations of unwrapped toys or gift cards will be collected by firefighters and given to needy children.

Support the local Lake Arrowhead music community by listening to the “Holiday Strings and Cookies” concert presented by the students of the Arrowhead Arts Association. The December 10th concert will rock at Mary Putnam Henck Intermediate School starting at 7 p.m. Although the concert is free, donations will help support Arrowhead Arts Association students who hope to attend a spring music festival.

We encourage you to enjoy Thanksgiving, Hanukah, and Christmas in our beautiful home town. Before you see a concert or snap a picture with Santa, have breakfast or lunch at Belgian Waffle Works.
